HOW MUCH

WHERE?
  • Due to COVID-19, we have decided that the safest way forward is to plan for all instruction to take place via a Digital Platform.
  • This means that dancers from any Country around the world can take part from the comfort of their own home/ studio. 
  • Fusion Fighters are monitoring the situation closely regarding additional outdoor performances. We are committed to providing to all cast members enjoyable, safe opportunities that adhere to any social distancing guidelines that apply on those dates.
  • If additional performances are allowed to take place, these will  take place in Dublin (Details to be announced asap).

WHO?
  • We are an inclusive performance camp that accept dancers Ages 7+ with at least 1 year of Irish dance experience from Adv Beginners up to Adv level. 
  • Dancers from all time zones can take part. 

WHEN?
  • July 30th - August 06th 2020.
  • Optional Performances/ Media Opportunities - August 7th- 9th 2020 ​(IF PERMITTED).

​WHAT?
  • Rehearsals and multiple guest classes will be available for cast members throughout the 8 days, as well as video tutorials from choreographers being sent out in advance to get started on the routines. (The choreography will be available for various levels of ability). 
  • Classes will be primarily set for USA/ European time zones, however all sessions will be recorded and will be made available for cast members who can't make some/ all of the live classes. 
  • Our 5th Anniversary choreographers include Chris Naish, Kristyn Fontanella, Ciaran Plummer and Tyler Schwartz.  
  • ​The schedule will include health and performance instruction from Chloey Turner as well as multiple other special guests.
  • Our dedicated team are also working on new creative ways that our cast will be socially interacting outside of the classes.
  • The new format will require the cast members to have the technology/ space identified to participate in online learning. 
  • You will need (Internet Connection, either a smartphone/ tablet or computer with a camera and microphone, a dance platform such as a Mitchell OR a piece of plywood, and a yoga/ workout mat.
  • Rather than an in-person final performance at the Millennium Theatre, our final product will include professionally made videos of each choreographers pieces with help from Feis Photos. These edited videos will be showcased together for our followers, friends, and family to watch in an online showcase. The online showcase will also include performances by the Fusion Fighters Crew & Friends. 
  • Despite all of the challenges, we believe that Fusion Dance Fest 2020 5TH Anniversary (Online Show) will make history as the first ever Irish Dance Show to be created from scratch and showcased online.  Something all Cast & Crew will be able to be very proud of and remembered for in the history books!

HOW? 

Become a cast member in minutes by simply filling our our Online Application Form. All levels of dancers are welcome, and will video audition in advance to be assigned their performance group. ​

The camp also provides future professional performance opportunities for it's cast members that has included appearances on 'The Late Late Show RTE1, Nolan live BBCNI, The Irish Post Awards, Fleadh Tv, Bloc TV4, The 6 O'Clock Show (Virgin Media), Llambis Tanz Duell (RTL) The North American Championships & three years in a row performing at the CLRG Irish Dance World Championships.
